This is your friendly reminder that a team of Buffaloes alumni, Team Colorado, are playing in The Tournament, a single-elimination tournament with a $2,000,000 grand prize. Team Colorado’s first round game is on Saturday, July 15, in Las Vegas. The game starts at 3:15 p.m. and will be aired on Watch ESPN.

Team Colorado was the runner-up in the 2016 TBT and earned the top seed in the West Region. As successful as last summer’s team was, Team Colorado is better than ever. The team is returning TBT veterans Marcus Hall, Richard Roby and Marcus Relphorde, along with Xavier Silas (formerly of City of Gods). They also have some key additions, most notably former NBA player Chris Copeland and two-time First Team All-Pac-12 selection Josh Scott.

Team Colorado has experience, defense, balanced offense, and they’re one of the deepest teams in TBT. They’re considered to be one of the heavy favorites, if not the favorite, in this competition. We’re hoping they make a deep run and we’ll be providing coverage all Tournament long.

Make sure to watch Team Colorado represent the Colorado Buffaloes in TBT. Also, remember to enjoy seeing Josh Scott playing in the gold and black again.
