If you ever wanted to stalk some of the all-time great Buffaloes basketball players, now is the perfect time. Team Colorado, a CU alumni team competing for $2,000,000 in The Tournament (TBT), is back home in Boulder and practicing in the Coors Events Center facilities. Team Colorado started their practices yesterday and will continue to until July 2nd.
Almost that time ! Looking forward to welcoming many former players back to Boulder this weekend #gobuffs pic.twitter.com/Pbkqc2ZmWt

Some notable names on Team Colorado you know and love include Chris Copeland and Josh Scott, plus Chauncey Billups as a team booster. If you’re in line at Qdoba and notice any 6’8 former NBA player with beautiful dreadlocks, that’s probably Copeland. If you’re in line at Office Max and notice a 6’11 ambidextrous two-way star with a baritone voice, that’s probably Scott. If you see the next GM of the Cleveland Cavaliers, that’s probably Billups.
Team Colorado was runner-up in TBT last summer and they’re back and better than ever. They’re set to be in the No. 1 seed in the West Region. They’re also rocking some sweet uniforms. Competition starts for them on July 15 in Las Vegas. ESPN will be providing coverage for each game, so you’ll be able to watch as much of them as possible.
I’m planning on stalking Team Colorado in the facilities and maybe around town, so don’t feel alone if you wish to do the same.
