The Lowdown: Sure wish the Buffs could have played the Trojans earlier in the season like Washington State did. USC has been a different team over the past couple of weeks under interim head coach Ed Orgeron. Wins over Utah, Oregon State and California were somewhat expected, but last Saturday's victory over Stanford announced that this "new" Trojans team was for real. Their defense hasn't allowed more than 28 points the past five weeks.
