Reports are coming out that indicate that star Oregon running back De'Anthony Thomas will not play this week against Colorado after suffering an ankle injury on the opening kickoff against California. He did not return to the game.
Officially, his status is questionable, but he is wearing a walking boot around campus and Head Coach Mark Helfrich will likely not want to rush him back in a game that he probably won't be needed.

While this is certainly good for the Buffs, it really doesn't change too much because of the numerous highly skilled backs waiting in line behind Thomas. Last week against Cal, sophomore running back Byron Marshall played the whole game and finished with 130 yards and 2 touchdowns on 19 carries, showing that Oregon really doesn't have to deal with the problems that the rest of us good ole college football folk have to deal with.
