The October 6th contest between the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Colorado Buffaloes looked like a dumpster dive on paper before the year. ASU, with Herm Edwards acting as head coach, was picked last in the Pac-12 South, and the Buffs were picked 5th.
Well, it’s now looking like this match-up is one of the most pivotal in the Pac-12 South. ASU is looking feisty on defense with certified, bonafide studs on offense. And, would you look at that, you could say the same thing for Colorado. The winner of this game is in good position to take the rest of the South. So when is this important clash happening and what huge network picked it up?
#Pac12FB KOs for 10/6:
— Jon Wilner (@wilnerhotline) September 24, 2018
1 pm (PT): ASU-Colo, Pac12N
6 pm: WSU-OSU, Pac12N
7 p.m: Cal-Arizona, FS1
Utah-Stanford and Washington-UCLA are six-day selections
Hmm. While I love the 2 P.M kickoff time, I don’t love that FS1 chose Cal-Arizona for some reason instead of ASU-CU. This is a good game for the Pac-12 Network to grab, as it should be interesting and exciting. The afternoon kickoff is fantastic as well, as there should be great fall Colorado weather during the first week of October. The Buffs will be either 4-0 or 3-1 for this ASU game, while ASU is looking at a tough 2-3 or 3-2.
