The Colorado Buffaloes had to wait until week 3 to play their first home game, but with wins over CSU and Nebraska before Folsom opens its gates, the wait proved worth it. The matchup against New Hampshire isn’t quite as emotionally valuable, but the Buffs in Boulder, especially for the first time, should be fun nonetheless.
If you need any extra motivation to go (game starts at 3 PM) or watch (televised on Pac-12 Mountain), the Buffs are breaking out a brand new uniform combo. Somehow, in the three years with this new set of uniforms, CU has never worn all-grey with black helmets before. Now they will.

For those keeping track at home, this is the first week with non-white jerseys and the first with black helmets. Against CSU, the Buffs wore gold helmets with white jerseys and pants, and they stuck with the traditional GWB against Nebraska. The silver makes a lot of sense compared to the black, as it will be a hot afternoon game early in the season. Plus, they need to save the all-black outfits for the night games.
