COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS HERE. And boy, it couldn’t have come much sooner. Why is the offseason so stupid long? I had to pretend to like baseball just to get through it. BASEBALL. Can you imagine? I’m so glad that chapter of my life is closing.
Enclosed, you will find a flexible table willing to bend to your viewing needs. I structured the viewing guide in pretty basic terms. The first class of games is CU games, which is appointment viewing regardless of the other games on television. The next classification of games is Great Games to Watch. These games should be next up on the importance scale (date is enclosed to let you know what days you’re busy). These are, in my opinion, the most interesting and entertaining games to watch, with an obvious slant towards relevance to the Buffs. The next classification is Good Games to Watch. These games will hold your interest, with storylines or play style, for at least a half of football. Purdue makes a few appearances because Jeff Brohm is so damn fun, and a lot of Pac-12 games lay in this classification. Next, the Games to Watch. These are the games that you shouldn’t miss because it’s still college football. They’re Saturday fare, empty calories to tide you over until the main dish. Finally, there’s the I’m Bored category. Run out of things to watch or do? Flip these games on and you’ll find semi-interesting games, even if it’s just for one player or matchup.
