Colorado Buffaloes land a defensive line recruit

REJOICE! CELEBRATE! THE BUFFS HAVE RECRUITED A DEFENSIVE LINEMAN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER. And it’s not just any lineman, he’s a good one! Tava Finau, a defensive lineman from Northern California, has pledged to the Buffs. Finau, who plays at Luther-Burbank high school in Sacramento, chose the Buffs over Washington State, Boise State and a host of local programs.

Finau is fun to watch no matter who you are. He’s big, he’s fast, he’s relentless, and most importantly, his hair flows like the wind. Tava has good size and length at 6’4 and 245 pounds, and he never stops pursuing the play. His size may call for a 3-4 OLB, but his style of play best fits with a hand on the ground.
