Stat of the Week: 365. No, not the number of days in a year we’re referring to, but the total number of snaps TE/DE George Frazier has played in all phases of the game this season. He first dabbled a bit on both sides of the ball as a freshman in 2014 (195 plays on defense and caught five passes, three for touchdowns on offense). He was strictly on offense the last two years, but this season, he’s been on the field for 365 plays (197 offense, 103 defense, 65 special teams). He’ll likely see two more snaps on defense over the course of the remainder of the season, and he’s easily the first player to play over 200 snaps on both offense and defense in the same season since the platoon era ended with the 1964 season.
