The College Football Playoff rankings for the final week of the regular season were released on Tuesday. There were no real surprises at the top given the losses by Alabama and Miami, the only question was if the committee would move Auburn into the top four with two losses.
Clemson takes over the No. 1 spot after Alabama’s 26-14 Iron Bowl loss vs. No. 2 Auburn. The Tigers are sitting in the best position to defend their national championship going into the conference championship vs. Miami.
