After the bye week the Colorado Buffaloes (5-6, 2-6 Pac-12) close out the regular season in Salt Lake City against the Utah Utes (5-5, 2-5 Pac-12). The conference foes will square off at 8:00 p.m. MT with national television coverage on FOX Sports 1.

Both teams are on the fringe of bowl eligibility with the winner likely headed to the postseason. Utah heads to Seattle this week to play No. 9 Washington, a week after the Huskies lost 30-22 at Stanford and were effectively knocked out of contention for the College Football Playoff.

Colorado won last year’s Rocky Mountain Rivalry 27-22 at Folsom Field, securing the South Division title before losing to Washington in the Pac-12 Championship. The last time the Buffaloes defeated the Utes in consecutive years was in 1957-58. It’s a close series between the two teams going back to 1903, with Colorado leading 32-28-3.
