The Colorado Buffaloes welcome the Arizona Wildcats to Boulder with both teams looking for their first Pac-12 Conference win. After opening with the Buffs favored by six the line slid up to six-and-a-half within two hours. Since that point it has stayed under a touchdown at most sportsbooks with the exception of the MGM Mirage which has it at seven. As of Wednesday morning, nearly 90% of all bets are on the Buffaloes according to Vegas Insider.
The Buffaloes are 2-2 against the spread this season (we’re not going to count the Northern Colorado game since it was largely unbettable but if we were, it was a loss) with covers against Colorado State and UCLA and losses against Texas State and Washington. They missed the cover against the Bobcats by a field goal.
The Wildcats sit at 1-2 against the spread (again, we’re not counting the Northern Arizona game which Arizona would have covered) with a cover against UTEP (who already had their head coach step down (all hail Mike Price)) and close losses (both against the spread and in the games) against Houston and Utah.
Last season the Buffaloes took down the Wildcats in Tucson 49-24.
