‘Pac-12 after dark’ took a lot out of some people this week. The Colorado Buffaloes met the No. 15 ranked Washington State Cougars and were held scoreless for the first time in five years. Here’s the best hot takes from the wholesome community of Twitter.
Bruh the weather is trash Montez isn’t even in the top 10 of issues with this team

I don't blame Montez. I blame the play calling! With that wind why are they throwing 30-40 yard passes to the sideline all night?
— Ranie Branson (@RanieBranson1) October 22, 2017
I will always love my Buffs and there is always next week, but Steven Montez should never be taken out again...
— Positive Brian (@BRIGGSQUAADDD) October 22, 2017
@CoachChev6 did you know Steven Montez hasn't completed 4 balls to 4 different guys in 6 quarters? Who's fault yours or his?
— Lee (@lee_oday) October 22, 2017
One day, Steven Montez will complete a pass. #CUBuffs #Pac12AfterDark

i watched one steven montez throw and want to gauge my eyes out now

People who are ready to pull the plug on Montez are the same ones pleading for patience with Siemian.

Safe to say that Sam Noyer is very very bad at football
— Victor Romero (@victorromero55) October 22, 2017
“Sam Noyer know more as a runner...” what are you talking about Beth??
— Brandon Bird (@BuffBird) October 22, 2017
Sam noyer looks absolutely terrible. Guy not even close to a reciever

Going to go out on a limb and say Colorado coach MacIntyre is upset #GoCougs #Wazzu pic.twitter.com/0O0zimNA3C

Few coaches get quite as riled up at refs as Colorado's Mike MacIntyre, which came up again as the Buffs were being shut out by Wazzu: pic.twitter.com/VekuOx23JT
— RedditCFB (@RedditCFB) October 22, 2017
Mike MacIntyre is almost like a baseball manager tonight, trying to get himself tossed from Colorado's fiasco.
— nick daschel (@nickdaschel) October 22, 2017
Mike MacIntyre might be contributing to global warming the way he's fuming on the sideline.
— Griffin Rucker (@GriffinRucker) October 22, 2017
I witnessed a former boss talk to my coworkers the way Coach Mac is berating the refs. I will never accept that kind of behavior! @cubuffs
— Marshall Zelinger (@Marshall9News) October 22, 2017
MIKE MACINTYRE WILL FIGHT SOMEONE RIGHT NOW

Has D.J. Eliot ever heard of a blitz? Or a pass rush? Or a sack?
— Josh Troyer (@jtroyer34) October 22, 2017
I view this CU football season like soft bacon: you look at it and think, "why aren't you better?"
— Andrew Fogoros (@AndrewF303) October 22, 2017
Yo So did CU students just support the football team (very annoyingly) during mile high showdown week then fall of the face of the earth...?
— nico (@nico__gd) October 22, 2017
Kinda amusing to see CSU Rams fans crowing at the CU Buffs recent Pac-12 struggles. I mean, if the Rams were in the Pac-12...enough said.

Hopefully next week won’t be as bad. Colorado returns home this week vs. California. The Buffaloes will be honoring the late Rashaan Salaam by retiring his No. 19 at halftime of the homecoming game.
