The Colorado Buffaloes will take on the California Golden Bears at noon in Boulder for the annual homecoming game on Saturday, October 28. The game will again be televised on the Pac-12 Network This will be a reprieve from the #Pac12AfterDark games after playing in Pullman against Wazzu the week before with a kickoff at 8:45 p.m., the latest slot the conference has. Families that usually attend the homecoming game in droves will be very happy to learn of the earlier kickoff.

California is currently riding high after a shocking 37-3 beatdown of Washington State, Colorado’s opponent this weekend, last Friday night. The Golden Bears completely shut down Mike Leach’s offense and turned around a season that had been sinking after a strong start. This weekend they welcome an Arizona Wildcats team that is also on a bit of a hot streak to Berkeley.

The Buffaloes last played Cal on September 27, 2014 in a 59-56 double overtime thriller in Berkeley. The last time they played in Boulder the Buffs took care of business with a 41-24 win.
