The 2016 battle of the Alamo features the No. 10 Colorado Buffaloes against the No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys on Dec. 29 (7 p.m. MT, ESPN). The Buffaloes will take the field with a traditional look featuring gold helmets, black jerseys and gold pants.
It's the same look worn this season in the 44-7 Rocky Mountain Showdown blowout of Colorado State.
And for the last time this year. For the @valeroalamobowl our uniform combination will be ... TRADITIONAL! #GoBuffs #theRISEisREAL pic.twitter.com/5L3EdWhsO4

CU’s first bowl appearance in nine seasons comes in the state of Texas, where the Buffs won their last game in the postseason (2004 Houston Bowl vs. UTEP, 33-28).
Almost 48 hours until the Colorado’s worst decade comes to an end. Go Buffs!
