Leavitt's Buffaloes defense has improved drastically (that word doesn't seem to do the improvement justice) since his arrival two seasons ago and the unit has forced at least one turnover in every single game that he has coached. The former South Florida head coach and 49ers position coach will probably be receiving a lot of phone calls from other coaches looking to improve their defense this offseason but it is assumed that Leavitt would only consider leaving for another head coaching position.
Congrats, Coach Leavitt!
