Colorado going traditional for Arizona State

The Buffaloes are going back to the uniforms that led to a domination of Colorado State.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Buffaloes have a huge home matchup on Saturday night against the Arizona State Sun Devils as they try to avoid a losing streak and stay in the Pac-12 South race. They'll be taking the field at night at a Folsom Field that should be rocking in the traditional, and oh so beautiful, gold/black/gold uniforms.

Last worn in the blowout win over Colorado State, this combo is a traditional look that most Buffaloes fans would admit is their favorite. A night game in what should be a beautiful fall night in Colorado only boosts the allure of the look. They should be a strong contradiction to whatever ridiculous uniforms that the Sun Devils decide to roll out for the road game.

The Sun Devils head into Boulder with a 5-1 record and are tied with the Buffaloes and Utes for first place in the Pac-12 South.
