The Buffaloes got punished in the Associated Press poll that was released today for their road loss to the Trojans on Saturday. Colorado dropped to #33 by vote allocation, a 12 place plummet, which may be a bit unfair given how close the game was. The Sun Devils of Arizona State, on the other hand, got rewarded for their home win against UCLA late Saturday night, moving up to #27 in the AP Poll and #24 in the Coaches’ Poll. That means that CU may technically get a ranked win next Saturday!
The Buffs dropped to #36 in the Coaches’. This sets up for a nice rebound. If the Buffs can get some help from the higher-ranked teams in the AP poll, they could sneak back in with a rank against a 5-1 ASU team that could be without their top 3 quarterback options.
Stanford, North Carolina and Colorado fell out of the #APTop25. https://t.co/zIB8gzx7Sm pic.twitter.com/jTsoRHLVwl
