While we have heard multiple rumors leak out about who the Buffs may be seeking to fill the now open home date in their 2013 schedule (San Diego State, San Jose State), it sounds like Hawaii is still the favorite to head to Boulder.

Colorado has offered $600,000 to the Rainbow Warriors to stay on the mainland for another week and take on the Buffs, filling the home game that was lost when the previously scheduled game against Fresno State (who just joined the Top 25 this week) was cancelled due to the epic Boulder flooding. I'm sure both parties are trying to get this done as soon as possible, but the prospect of keeping the Hawaii team out of class and away from home for an extra week (they play at UNLV on October 12) is something that has to be carefully considered.
The Warriors dropped their third straight game this past Saturday 31-9 at Nevada.
