After starting the season 0-2 against the spread the Colorado Buffaloes covered for the second week in a row last Saturday with a 21-12 victory over the visiting Hawaii Warriors. The Warriors were 8.5-point underdogs and were held without a touchdown by a much improved Buffs defense.
This week the Buffs hit the road for their first Pac-12 road game of the 2014 season against the California Golden Bears. The line now sits at Colorado +11 after opening at 10.5 and creeping it's way up. Currently a huge majority of the public money is on Cal but that's pretty expected this early in the week.
California sits at 2-1 on the season after wins over Northwestern and Sacramento State and a heartbreaking, last second loss to Arizona last Saturday. The Bears were the Buffaloes only Pac-12 win last season, falling 41-24 in Boulder as a part of a 1-11 inaugural run for new head coach Sonny Dykes.
