Head Coach: Sonny Dykes (1st season as head coach at Cal, previously at Lousiana Tech)

Offensive Coordinator: Tony Franklin (1st season as offensive coordinator at Cal, formerly coordinator at Lousiana Tech)

Defensive Coordinator: Andy Buh (1st season as defensive coordinator at Cal, formerly linebackers coach at Wisconsin)

Key Players: QB Jared Goff, Fr (3141 yards, 17 TD's, 9 interceptions), WR Chris Harper, So (842 yards, 5 TD's), WR Bryce Treggs, So (681 yards, 1 TD)

The Lowdown: Yea, it's been another rough season for the Buffaloes but we're used to it at this point. California is having a rough go of it in new head coach Sonny Dykes first season in Berkeley. The Bears only win came in a seven-point home squeaker against Portland State and outside of a 5-point home loss to Arizona none of the games have been close (although the Bears did have a pretty stacked non-con schedule). The future on offense is bright with true freshman Jared Goff leading the way but Coach Dykes has a long way to go.
