Led by a 15 point effort from sophomore forward Jen Reese, Colorado women's basketball earned their fourth straight victory, knocking off a freefalling Arizona team on the road, 55-42.
Neither team had much of an offensive flow, as Arizona and Colorado combined for five missed field goals and four turnovers before Arielle Roberson scored the first basket of the game at the 17:46 mark.
Colorado kept the foot to the gas pedal for the entire first half, as they entered halftime with a 30-23 lead.
The Buffs closed the door on any hope Arizona had for a comeback with a 10-0 run. The run was sparked by outstanding defense, as Colorado didn't allow a point for nearly the first seven minutes of the second half, as Davellyn White hit a three at the 13:36 mark.
Colorado now stands at 8-5 in the Pac-12, and will return to the court on Sunday to face Arizona State.
