The Colorado Buffaloes continue to recruit hard for the class of 2023. With the 25th-ranked class in the country, Karl Dorrell and the Buffs continue to prioritize finishing this class early. New cornerbacks coach Rod Chance has been active on the recruiting trail, and that activity has paid off once again. Texas cornerback Taylor Starling has joined the herd!
Starling plays for South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, which has been good to the Buffs recently. Starling has had a long relationship with Rod Chance, which helped him pick the Buffs over offers from Arizona, Purdue and Kansas, with some of the local Texas schools sniffing around.
Starling is an absolute blazer, who may run track for the Buffs as well. At 5’11 and 175 pounds, he has plenty of size for a cornerback, which is where he is slated to play in college. I expect him to bulk before he hits the field, but his speed has major upside.
