Athletic wide receiver commits to Colorado Football

It may sound like deja vu, but Coach Chev gets a WR from Dallas.

The Colorado Buffaloes are living in Texas for this recruiting cycle. The Class of 2022 is a Texas-based group, and Darrin Chiaverini continues to add to that group. The WR coach has deep roots in Texas, which he has used to great effect over the years. The Dallas area has been great to Coach Chev and the Buffs, and now it delivers one more time with Jordyn Tyson.

Tyson recently transferred to Allen High School to play his senior year of high school football. Allen High School is one of the biggest prep powerhouses of all time and it sits just outside of Dallas. Tyson is young for his grade, and combined with his previously more unknown high school, that may be the reason for the relative lack of recruiting interest. We’ll see if that changes.

The first thing to notice about Tyson is how unknown he is. There is not a lot of easily available game highlights of him. He has been dominating the 7v7 circuit this offseason, and was recently bumped up to a 3-star on 247 Sports. If he factors in at Allen High School as anticipated, he won’t be unknown for long.

Welcome, Jordyn!
