Colorado Adds Defensive Back From Southern California

We’re back in the Golden State!

NCAA Football: Southern California at Colorado Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

It took 11 commitments, but the Colorado Buffaloes and Demetrice Martin, but a Southern California baller is finally making his way to Boulder. Somehow, California is the 8th state that the Buffs have gained a commitment from, but the wait was worth it. One of the better players in Southern California has committed to the Buffs. Everyone welcome Kaylin Moore.

Moore hails from Oaks Christian High School in the L.A. area, the same school that upcoming freshman Mister Williams attended. A 6’0, 180 pound athlete, Moore plays both sides of the ball in high school. It’s projected that he will factor in at DB for CU when he gets to college. He was deciding between Cal, Oregon State, and Boise State (offered by former Buff Jalil Brown!) and Colorado before making the right choice. Demetrice Martin flexed his recruiting muscle with this commitment.

Moore is a physical, sudden athlete. His tape, on both sides of the ball, shows explosion and man, does he like to hit. Kaylin moves his hips really well as a DB, which is a great trait to have at every level. He breaks on the ball fast is not afraid to mix it up with anybody. Moore has good size, good athleticism, good instincts, and likes to hit. I really, really like this pickup.

Welcome, Kaylin!
