If there’s one position that definitely needs bodies, it’s the offensive line. The much-maligned group is losing some veteran players and has a new coach. The existing offensive line class was already solid, but it never hurts to add a great offensive line prospect like Nikko Pohahau
Here’s what we wrote about Nikko when he committed in January:
For the life of me, I don’t know why it took so long fro him to get noticed. He’s in a well-populated area of California, he played all four years in high school, and he’s also pretty good. His played both right and left tackle in high school. He moves his feet very well and moves to the second level with ease. He is obviously more comfortable going forward as a blocker, given how much he dominated people by blocking angry and pushing forward.
He will likely stay at right tackle for the Buffs. If he puts on some good weight, he will see the field early in his career. Pohahau is a great start for Chris Kapilovic’s recruiting career at CU.
