I know, I know, this guy just committed, but with the recruiting schedule being what it is, and especially shortened for Mel Tucker, the news flies fast. One of the last Buffaloes to commit, Lloyd Murray, is now one of the first recruits to sign.
Here’s what we wrote when he committed this week:
t’s easy to see how he earned those big time offers. His highlight tape is littered with the poor souls who happened to be in his way. He stands out immediately due to his size, and even with 300+ pounds, he explodes towards the ball. He played in both a 3 man and a 4 man front, and frequently beat the offensive linemen off the snap. Given the shaky depth in Boulder, I expect him to play right away.
He officially clocks in at 6’2 and 325 pounds AS A FRESHMAN. He will play right away and often with that size. Murray is part of an overarching plan to get big fast, and Mel Tucker found just the guy to do it. It’s frightening that he has four years to get bigger and stronger.
