Colorado Football starts 2020 class in-state

Cherry Creek has been good to the Buffs

NCAA Football: Northern Colorado at Colorado Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Four years in a row, the Buff have started their recruiting class with a Colorado kid. Jon Van Diest was the first commit for the 2017 class, Ray Robinson started out the 2018 class, and Joshia Davis kicked off the 2019 group. The 2020 class went back to Creek start off Mel Tucker’s first full recruiting class.

Carson Lee plays for Cherry Creek High School and looks to dominate his senior year. Already a national recruit, he looks to be one of the best in the class of 2020 offensive linemen, which may be the best group of all time in the Centennial State. Lee has offers from 13 Power 5 programs, including Michigan, Arizona, Arizona State, and Nebraska.

At 6’4 and about 300 pounds, Lee is a natural guard prospect. He plays with good balance and footwork and appears to enjoy nothing more than putting people on the ground. He is a natural run blocker and pulling guard, and seems to fit the new direction of the offense perfectly.

Welcome, Carson!
