Big bodies make big teams, and big teams win games. Jordan Berry is one of those big bodies, and now he comes to the Colorado Buffaloes. After committing to play at LSU, where they know what a good defensive lineman looks like, he has moved on to greener, or bigger, pastures with Colorado Football.
Berry is from outside Los Angeles in Narbonne High School. He stands at 6’3 and a LIGHT 330 pounds. Jordan is a national recruit, and as we mentioned when he committed, he had offers from just about everybody in the country. Berry was one of the select few who visited the Stanford game, and that group of visitors may end up being one of the most impacting in the program as time goes on.
His senior year highlights show complete dominance. He’s gigantic, but he’s also technical and athletic, and his arms are like turbines swatting away ball carriers and blockers. As a 4’3 defensive tackle in high school, he could play NT or DE in this 3-4 scheme, and that versatility, plus his size, could let him play early for this program.
