It’s always special when Forever Buffs remain connected to the Colorado Buffaloes. Players from the past caring about the future is part of what makes college football so cool. It’s also easier to be connected when there’s something to be connected to. Christian Fauria is one of the best tight ends in school history. He was a blocker, receiver, and a backfield mate for some of the best offense in college football history. And now, another Fauria will be a Buff.
Caleb Fauria is a tight end from Massachussets. At 6’5 and 220 pounds, he has plenty of size for the position, but he did play wide receiver for a lot of his football career. Fauria had offers from a lot of regional schools, but the one to look for is that tight end powerhouse Iowa also wanted him to commit. Luckily, they can’t beat bloodlines.
Caleb is a natural playmaker in the open field. His tape shows a receiver that gets upfield in a hurry and has a surprising amount of speed for someone so big. And the poor defensive backs that gets in his way when he’s blocking. Caleb is a mean man when someone gets in his way. Fauria will find his way on the field early and often for the Buffs.
Welcome, Caleb!
