National Signing Day 2019: Mark Perry is a Colorado Buffalo

The versatile DB from California signs on.

Oftentimes, the biggest recruiting wins during coaching changes are keeping the players you have committed. Mike MacIntyre kept Sefo Liufau committed, Tad Boyle kept Alec Burks in Boulder, and Mel Tucker kept Mark Perry committed. Which is a big deal.

Mark Perry stands at 6’1 and 190 pounds, a perfect size to play any DB position he so chooses. From Rancho Cucamonga High School in southern California, Perry blew up his junior and senior year and the Buffs were lucky to hold on. Through a USC offer and other high major interest, he stayed loyal and will be rewarded with early playing time (and the best college experience in the country).

Perry shows smart, instinctual play from all over the defensive backfield. His top-end speed and quick change of direction can be seen from his time at RB, and you always love to see two way players in college. His hips are fluid, his feet agile, and his head on a swivel. He is a complete prospect.

Welcome, Mark!
