Another Northern California product has decided to call Boulder home. Nate Landman, the outside linebacker, has officially signed with the Colorado Buffaloes. He represents further success for the Buffs recruiting in the Norhern California area and a great addition to the linebacking corps.
Landman has great size for a linebacker already at 6’3 and around 220 pounds. He played at Monte Vista High School, in between San Francisco and San Jose, so familiar territory for former SJSU coach Mike MacIntyre. Landman earned numerous postseason honors for his individual performance, both offensively and defensively. He will play linebacker for the Buffs, inside or outside.
Landman has excellent athleticism and quickness on the field. As a linebacker, he attacks the line of scrimmage and sifts through traffic with ease. Landman is an excellent open field tackler, something that is a necessity in the Conference of Champions. Assuming that focusing on one side of the ball will help his weight training, Landman will bulk up in a hurry and keep his speed. If and when that happens, Landman will be a wrecking crew in the linebacking corps.
Welcome, Nate!
