Grant Polley signs with the Buffs!

The athletic Texas tackle makes it official

NCAA Football: Colorado at Colorado State Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Texas comes up big for the Buffs once again as Grant Polley decides to bring his talents to South Boulder. Another in a pretty long list of ballers that the Buffs are bringing in from the Dallas area this year. Polley is a big boy who will play early and often for the Buffs and Klayton Adams is doing backflips about this signee.

Grant Polley plays at Denton High School in Dallas, Texas and he’s been a multi-year starter. All of 6’4 and 270, Polley plays tackle for his high school team, but he could fit in at either guard or tackle for CU. Grant is one of many players that CU is targeting from the Dallas area, a huge talent hot bed.

Polley has a great base with his legs and he flattens some defensive ends. He can drive players off of the line of scrimmage and his speed gets him to the second level. His technique is polished. With Moretti, Polley and the rest of the offensive line recruits, CU has a backbone for a punishing run game.

Welcome, Grant!
