Keeping the best talent at home is a big part of the success of any program. Coach MacIntyre has been doing an admirable job so far. Dimitri Stanley is evidence of that.
.@CoachChev6 on Stanley: “He is one of the best all-around athletes in the country. He can play inside and outside. He is a CU legacy recruit, which I know means a lot to his family and it does to me too.” https://t.co/8bPFarU4w8

Dimitri Stanley, son of Forever Buff Walter Stanley, played for Cherry Creek High School. He starred on both sides of the ball for the Bruins, and was the best player on their team this year. Stanley, at 6’0 and 180, is a versatile athlete at wide receiver and defensive back. He will likely factor in at wideout for the Buffs, but the important thing is that someone of his caliber gets to Boulder.
His athleticism is apparent. Stanley just clowns fools everywhere. He’s fast, but more importantly, he’s very coordinated and knows how to use his body. When he catches the ball, he knows exactly what to do with it. Stanley, at defensive back or wide receiver, has great ball skills. It makes sense that he was so highly coveted.
Welcome, Dimitri!
