Colorado Football is emphasizing Texas again, and Josh Jynes is just further proof. The anchor of the elite Desoto football team in Dallas, Texas, joins the Buffs and his former teammates.
.@CoachAdamsCUFB on Jynes: “He comes from an unbelievable program & really caught our eye when he started 16 games as a JR on the state championship team. He was the only JR on that o-line and then this year he was a great leader & did an unbelievable job at multiple positions.” https://t.co/5V4BJ6F03m

Jynes plays center for the Desoto Eagles, who are the premier program in the Dallas area. He has started for two years, and moved to center for his senior year. Jynes has been familiar with CU for some time, as his former teammates Laviska Shenault and KD Nixon both moved to Boulder last year. That should make the transition that much easier for Jynes.
His tape shows a solid player. And I mean that in the best way possible. You don’t necessarily want sexy play from the anchor of the offense. He’s solid, accountable, and smart.
Welcome, Josh!
