The Buffs are putting the finishing touches on their 2018 class. But that doesn’t mean they can’t work ahead. Joshia Davis, the stud RB for Valor Christian, just committed to the 2019 class.
This keeps the streak of recruiting classes starting in-state alive. In 2017, it was Jon Van Diest and Dante Sparaco. In 2018, it will be Ray Robinson and Blake Stenstrom. And now, in 2019, it starts with Davis. Joshia has been playing on Valor’s varsity team for a while, and just finished up his junior season. He rushed for 771 yards at 6 yards per carry, and increased his touchdown total to 11. Davis is the real deal. He’s huge for a running back, but more than that, he’s got moves. Davis is a plus receiver out of the backfield, and can get to the edge in a hurry on outside runs.
Davis is familiar with CU’s 2018 QB commit, Blake Stenstrom, as they shared the backfield this year. Another great get in-state for CU.
