Colorado Recruiting: Jaylon Jackson Pledges to the Buffs

The speedy 4-star from Texas joins the Buffs' commitment list.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

BOOM! After making a splash in-state with the first two commits, Jon Van Diest and Dante Sparaco, the Buffs went to the Lone Star State and got a HUGE commit from Jaylon Jackson. Jackson is hopefully the first domino to fall in Texas, and CU has renewed interest in recruiting there this year. Jaylon has speed to burn, and has been tearing up the camp circuit so far in the offseason. Given that Coach Chiaverini recruits the Dallas area and he also is the WR coach, he presumably has a lot to do with this commitment. The rest of the country is now officially on notice. CU is starting to turn the ship around, and if more players with Jaylon's talent hop on board, the Buffs will be knocking on the door sooner rather than later.

Welcome, Jaylon!
