Derrion Rakestraw, a tall receiver prospect from Sequoyah, Georgia, is officially a Buff! Rakestraw was recruited by Charles Clark and is one of two recruits form the Buffs successful foray into Georgia this recruiting cycle. Rakestraw played both ways for his high school team, but he is expected to play wide-out for the Buffs. Rakestraw has an effortless stride and sneaky athleticism, and it doesn't look he's ever trying too hard on the field. He can high point the ball really well and can block well from the outside. Due to his slight build, he may red-shirt this year, but he will be a contributor during his career here.
