BOOM! In-State Tackle Flips to the Buffaloes!

Jake Moretti reverses from the Buckeyes to the Buffs!

NCAA Football: UCLA at Colorado Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

This is a big one, folks! Jake Moretti, the top in-state recruit in the state of Colorado, has decided that going to Columbus, Ohio didn’t sound quite as nice as going up the road to Boulder. And boy are the Buffs happy about it. Moretti is an absolute prize and in a class full of crown jewels, he might just be the crowniest of them all. What a wonderful surprise for the Buffs.

Moretti hails from Pomona High School, which seems to produce a lot of linemen. Jake absolutely shined his sophomore and junior year, and due to his performances, earned high major offers from all over. Moretti picked Ohio State University in 2015, but it seems the Buffs have won over Moretti after.

Now, let’s move to his tape. He has been out for his senior year with a torn ACL, but his junior year is absolutely dominant. He pancakes everybody, shows his nasty, shows his athleticism, and shows his power. I can’t really describe how he utterly dominates everyone he matches up with. Just watch the tape. Jake is an early enrollee and will arrive in Boulder with an extra semester to prepare for college.

Welcome, Jake!
