Buffaloes land 4-star defensive back

Craig Watts, Jr has pledged to be a Colorado Buffalo.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Momentum is not something the Colorado Buffaloes football team has had very much of over the last 10 years. But with three straight victories and a new verbal commitment from a blue chip defensive back that may be starting to change.

Buffaloes recruiting fans who lament the lack of other offers for some of Colorado's recent commitments won't have a single thing to complain about when they look at the list that Watts will bring to Boulder. Virtually anyone and everyone has offered the star defensive back who decommitted from Wisconsin this summer. The Floridian can play either corner or safety when he arrives at Colorado. This one is big.

Watts is the ninth verbal in the 2016 class and the fourth on defense.

Welcome aboard , Craig!
