The Leavitt Effect? Colorado Lands a Huge Verbal From Florida WR

Three commits in four days and the Buffs are rolling.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

With two posts yesterday about the new verbals in the previous three days I received multiple comments from readers complaining (ridiculously) about the other offers for our new Buffaloes. I expect I won't hear that today with the huge commitment of Florida wide receiver Johnny Huntley.

Huntley chose the Buffs over 25 other others including two SEC schools and TCU, West Virginia and Louisville. The consensus three-star receiver is the Buffaloes first commitment from Florida since 2010 and according to Adam Munsterteiger of Buff Stampede there could be more coming. Thank you, Jim Leavitt and Joe Tumpkin. It's a great day to be a Buffalo.

Huntley is the eighth verbal in the 2016 class and the fifth on offense.

Welcome aboard , Johnny!
