Colorado Received a Verbal From California Linebacker

The Buffs locked up their fourth commitment of the class, a hard-running linebacker from California.

Well, after a long and well-documented wait for the first commit of the 2016 football class, the Colorado Buffaloes football staff has used little time to get their next three, the latest being Akil Jones, out of San Jose, California. Jones hails from Valley Christian High School (the same as Ryan Severson and Jay MacIntyre (before the move to Boulder)), and he has a motor that just won't quit. In his highlight tape, Jones flashes great speed and hold the edge very well. Leavitt should do really well with an athlete like Akil on his unit.

Welcome aboard , Akil!
