Just over a week after the Colorado Buffaloes landed their first commit of the 2016 recruiting class they have landed their second in Georgia athlete Derrion Rakestraw according to Adam Munsterteiger of BuffStampede. In addition to possessing an awesome name, Rakestraw also comes with the ability to play either offense or defense in Boulder. In his junior season he started at both wide receiver and cornerback and also competes in track and field.
Derrion Rakestraw, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound athlete from Woodstock (Ga.) Sequoyah has verbally committed to #CUBuffs. Could end up at WR or DB.

While Rakestraw has a solid number of offers and was being recruited by a number of FBS schools it was Boulder and the campus in addition to the program that won him over.
Welcome aboard, Derrion!
