Kabion Ento signs with the Buffs

The JuCo product made it official with Colorado this week.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffs added a late offer and welcomed the first official signee of the 2016 class, Kabion Ento. Hailing from East Central Community College, which resides in the ultra-talented Mississippi JuCo leagues, Ento added late offers from Toledo and CU before choosing the Buffs. Kabion is a tall body who can jump out of the gym, and he seems to be the first domino to fall for Darren Chiaverini's new receiving corps. He likes his receivers tall and athletic, and Ento fits the bill to a tee. With 3 to play 2, Ento is in the same class as Bryce Bobo, Devin Ross, and Shay Fields, all coming into their junior years. Welcome, Kabion!

Notes from cubuffs.com: ""Kabion is tall and rangy, and one of the things he does really well is that he can go up and catch the ball with people around him," MacIntyre said.  "We’re excited about having him join us this spring at the receiver position." As a sophomore, Ento helped ECCC to an 8-3 record under coach Ken Karcher, its best season since 1999 as the Warriors finished year ranked as the No. 10 team in NJCAA.  He had 38 receptions for 607 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 16.0 yards per catch; his long play was a 79-yard touchdown against Mississippi Delta.  He had 21 receptions for 278 yards (13.2 per) and two scores as a freshman."
