Buffaloes Land Verbal from California Athlete Nick Fisher

Fisher will likely play cornerback at Colorado.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Buffaloes landed a verbal commitment from Temecula, California athlete Nick Fisher on Sunday night. Fisher will likely play defensive back for the Buffs. He played both ways for Great Oak last season and finished with 437 yards and six touchdowns on offense and five tackles and four deflections on defense.

Fisher becomes the twelfth member of the 2015 class and the fourth from California. He's the first defensive back to give his verbal to the Buffaloes this cycle.

Welcome aboard, Nick!

Notes: From Rivals ($): According to Fisher, the Buffs like him most as a defensive back, specifically at corner. He's open to playing both ways at the next level.

"They were very excited, they said they need a corner to come in and play next year from their 2015 class. They said it's very possible if I put the work in I could get that spot. They like me at corner," Fisher said.
