Lausii "Boogie" Sewell plans to play his college ball in Boulder.

The Colorado Buffaloes have landed a verbal commitment from Utah Desert Hills high school defensive tackle Lausii "Boogie" Sewell.

First off, that is an amazing nickname. Sewell finished his junior season with 52 tackles and an interception. He attended the All-Poly camp earlier this and started hearing from a number of schools immediately thereafter.

Sewell's cousin, Gabriel, plays on the same team and also holds a Colorado offer. Boogie becomes the ninth commit in the 2015 class.

Welcome aboard, Boogie!

Notes: From Rivals ($): "My junior year went good you know. I came off an injury and took it to heart and used it as motivation. I just dominated. I had about 52 tackles, four or five sacks and I had one interception. He threw it right at me. They did a pick play and the receiver ran right behind me and he tossed it and I tipped it. It the offensive lineman's facemask and I caught it. I ran like 10, 15 yards and they tackled me," Sewell said.
