Buffaloes receive a commitment from a Colorado punter

Alex Kinney becomes the seventh member of the 2015 class.

Fort Collins Rocky Mountain kicker Alex Kinney has verbally committed to the Colorado Buffaloes. Kinney, one of the top special teams players in the state, is currently ranked No. 3 in the nation in punting by Chris Sailer (one of the preeminent kicking instructors in the country. With Darragh O'Neill entering his final season with the Buffaloes the Colorado coaching staff and special teams coach Toby Neinas have now found a fantastic replacement.

There's a very slight difference between him and the top two guys. Overall, he's by far a top national prospect at the punting position. He has a huge ceiling; he has a huge potential and ability. Colorado definitely got one of the best punting prospects in the country," Sailer said.
