Colorado Picks Up Second Arizona Commit in Two Days

Phoenix defensive back Isaiah Oliver has given the Buffaloes his verbal.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Colorado Buffaloes picked up their second commit from an Arizona player in the last two days with today's verbal from Brophy Prep safety Isaiah Oliver. Oliver is fresh off an official visit to Boulder and decided to join a recruiting class whose remaining opens are starting to get few and far between. He is expected to play cornerback once he's joins the Buffaloes.

Oliver's Dad played at Oregon in the early 90's before a five year NFL career. He becomes the eighteenth member of the 2015 class and the third from Arizona along with Brett Tonz and Justin Jan.

Welcome aboard, Isaiah!

Notes: From Rivals ($): "The question for him is the speed. He doesn't have great straight-line speed. He is always around the football, though. He is one of those kids that is just always making a play. I have seen him a couple times now and he has the size and he is always involved in the play. He has one of the best motors I have seen this year."
