Arizona Wide Receiver Commits To Colorado

The Buffaloes landed a verbal who is expected to eventually slide into a role similar to Tyler McCulloch.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffaloes have received their second verbal commitment in the last week with the decision of Arizona receiver Justin Jan to head to Boulder to play his college ball. Jan is a 6'2, 193-pound wideout who will likely play a similar role to what we saw from Tyler McCulloch in his senior season. He had been hearing from Arizona State, Utah State and UCLA amongst others but Colorado was his first D1 offer.

Jan becomes the seventeenth member of the 2015 class and the second from Arizona along with Brett Tonz.

Welcome aboard, Justin!

Notes: From Rivals ($): "They kind of see me playing the role that McCulloch played, so being a bigger inside receiver who can create mismatches in their offense," Jan said. "What he did is very similar to what I have been doing these past couple years. I feel like I am going to come in and be a good route runner at that spot. I feel I will be able to make some plays that will be a good fit for them."
