Frank Umu Flips from Colorado State To Colorado

Umu's commitment gives the Buffs another top in-state player.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Jim McElwain's move to Florida to take over the head coaching job vacated by Will Muschamp has already paid dividends for the Buffs as Littleton defensive tackle Frank Umu has switched his commitment from Colorado State to the Colorado Buffaloes. He finished his senior season at Heritage with 81 tackles, five forced fumbles, 3.5 sacks, 12 hurries, two blocked punts and one blocked field-goal.

Umu adds to a huge and needed defensive tackle class that now includes five total players in addition to two defensive ends. He becomes the sixteenth member of the 2015 class and the fourth from Colorado.

Check out his senior highlights on Hudl.

Welcome aboard, Frank!
